Dr. Shivananda Koteshwar
Founder & Trustee
Dr Shivananda R Koteshwar (Shivoo) is the founder and a Trustee of "Belakoo", a Trust dedicated in aiding Rural Education, Skill Development, & Experiential learning. Shivoo is a Co-Trustee at The Aurinko Academy, a progressive K12 school in Bangalore with focussed programs in all new-age careers.
Shivoo also has over 27yrs of experience in the semiconductor industry. He currently works at Synopsys India as the Silicon Realization and Custom Design Manufacturing Group Site Leader, and R&D Head. Shivoo is extremely active in mentoring start-ups catering to the EdTech space. His Startup Portfolio includes Your Philanthropy Story, Bizchamp, FabSkool, and KreedaLoka.
Shivoo, as an author, has published four books titled “50 Shades of Life”, "50 Colours of Love", “English Kaliyiri”, and “SoC Physical Design” with Springer International Publications. Shivoo is a recipient of the Employee Excellence Award in Recognition of his efforts as an outstanding Synopsys Employee and was awarded Distinguished Alumni of MCE.
Smitha Hemmigae
Co-Founder & Trustee
Smitha Hemmigae, the co-founder and Trustee of ‘Belakoo Trust’ is also the Head of Marketing at ANSR. She is one of the Top 50 Digital Marketers In India. With over 18 years of industry experience, she has developed multiple award-winning marketing programs in the technology services industry.
Smitha is the co-founder of Your Philanthropy Story, a platform that covers stories of common people who are creating change in the society around them. She is also a member of the leadership team of the Bangalore Chapter of Singularity University and the Academic Council of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, for the BBA program.
"We measure our volunteers by just one parameter – Gross Student Happiness. The students must be happy to walk in, sit through classes and be happy while they leave” – says Smitha Hemmigae.
